The HALO sleepsack is one of my alltime favorite baby products. I wish I had discovered this product sooner! It keeps my baby warm, and safe at the same time! The peace of mind is priceless. I don't have to worry about her getting tangled in her blanket when she sleeps. And I know she is nice and warm, all night long! I do wish they made a version with long sleeves. I live in Maine and it can get cold! I put her in a long sleeve sleeper under the sleepsack, but I worry her arms don't stay as warm. She doesn't seem to mind, but the mommy in me wishes there was an option for sleeves!

Also, I love that it zips from the bottom, makes middle-of-the-night diaper changes a cinch.

The Velboa fabric is luxurious and oh-so-soft. Washes extremely well, very durable! Use this every night. This would be a great baby shower gift!

We've had our almost 1-year old in Halo sleepsacks since about 6 weeks. Last year we used a fleece swaddle, but as his arms need to be out this year, we wanted to dress him in blanket sleepers, but then were concerned that two layers of fleece would be too much. The velboa is a perfect alternative: warmer than the cotton, but more breathable than the fleece. As with all the Halo products, the generous sizing makes it easy to get on, and allows room for movement (he is able to cruise along the crib rail without having his feet free). So far it's held up well. I just ordered another to allow for washing!

I love this sleepsack. I use it every day and night. Whenever I put the baby in it she automatically knows it's time for nap or sleep. Get a bigger size than what you need. Our baby used a medium size from 3 month and she is very comfortable in it. I got this velboa one instead of cotton or fleece based on the reviews. But I've seen the fleece one in the store and it looked not as nice. So I really recommend the velboa ones.
