This is a great flashlight. Maglite makes a very tough light and holds up well to anything you can throw at it. This is the second one I have had. The only reason I got a new one is the batteries leaked in the old unit and I could not get them out. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This light worked as advertised for a few days. A spare bulb, kept in the base, was improperly stored, forcing too much pressure on the bottom of the batteries, which eventually flattened the spring contact at the top of the batteries. The result: once the bulb was properly stowed, there was little or no contact between the batteries & the spring contact at their top end. This was essentially the end of the light. This happened just after the expiration of the return period.
I would not recommend this product.

As is always the case, this Maglite is sturdy, heavy and produces excellent light. If anyone has every owned a maglight they know that they are hard to beat.
