Lasko 2136 Review by John Heller

Ace Hardware Direct does not carry the model 2136. We ordered two of them and after 10 days received two of the wrong model Lasko window fan. Ace appologized and offered to refund the difference or ship it back at their expense, but they should not be advertising a fan they do not carry.

I'm giving this rating 3 stars for the poor experience with Ace Hardware, not for the fan itself.

We purchased this fan because we needed a small fan to fit into our window. It is nicely made and runs well but there are two drawbacks. It isn't very powerful (perhaps a function of its size) and to reverse the flow, it must be manually taken out of the window. This is an awkward procedure and had we known this, we most likely wouldn't have purchased it. But it works and fits.

This is a great little pocket knife its light and small the steel it uses is allright it still takes a working edge really well tho all around its a good knife for the money.

I've owned my D.W.O. for almost 7 years, and it's held up very well. The blade still looks good, still opens and closes well, and still locks up rock solid. It's got a little rust on the inside but that's because I've gotten it wet many times. for what you're paying fo this, it's an excellent pocket knife just to have on you.


Kershaw 3000RD Review by Mitch G.

Kershaw comes through as usual and for $12 it's a great value. It's a little heavier than I'm used to(I usually pocket a Swiss Army Sentry) but well-balanced with a moderately thick blade and a solid frame. The rubberized cover provides a solid grip, even wet, but it's not tacky or sticky. Lockup is solid and the copy I got has no play whatsoever when deployed. I compared this with a small Gerber "Bear Grylls" pocket folder my son has that was about the same price and is also Chinese-made. The Kershaw is heavier with more blade heft, better balanced, with a much more solid feel, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

I definitely ended up over buying as they fit way more than I expected. I wanted a plastic container with a snap top - I didn't like how most photo boxes had a regular cardboard lid. I wish they were at least tinted to help protect the photos - I keep my photos in my closet so hopefully that will keep them from deteriorating. Also used one of the boxes for old VHS tapes of the family.

Check the dates of the reviews - apparently they used to send 6 boxes for $70 way back when - but recent reviews all show one single box for $70. I agree, the box is great, at 6 per $70, but not for ONE BOX!

Also they have just recently dropped the 6 count under the tech details, so they now think people will pay that price for one plastic box? Amazing.

I'm 6'4 and about 180 and I ordered the 16.5 neck and 35/36 sleeves, which are my measurements. The sleeves and neck where exactly right. The problem, however, was the space in this thing. Other "tall" shirts I've ordered were simply longer in the body, but this seems to have taken "tall" to also mean "wide". This shirt was bigger than any jacket or coat I've ever worn and may as well have been a 4XL. If you are heavyset this shirt may be right for you, but if you are normal or slim I suggest you stay away.

This is a great flashlight. Maglite makes a very tough light and holds up well to anything you can throw at it. This is the second one I have had. The only reason I got a new one is the batteries leaked in the old unit and I could not get them out. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This light worked as advertised for a few days. A spare bulb, kept in the base, was improperly stored, forcing too much pressure on the bottom of the batteries, which eventually flattened the spring contact at the top of the batteries. The result: once the bulb was properly stowed, there was little or no contact between the batteries & the spring contact at their top end. This was essentially the end of the light. This happened just after the expiration of the return period.

I would not recommend this product.

This is a nice digital camera to carry around with you. Takes good pictures and is easy to use. I just carry it with me all the time to take everyday shots. Pictures are sharp, crisp focus with good color.

The camera itself is beautiful. So different from the rest of a typcal point and shoot. The buttons on the back even light up pretty. cosmetically the camera ia sexy!! I love the sliding down front! Im giving it 2 stars cause its pretty, different from the normal camera and the returning was easy enough to handle!

However, its not worth the money for it to just "look pretty".
I found that you NEED a tri-pod or a table to take a clear shot without a flash on. Even with great lighting if the flash is off, regardless of shooting mode, it blurs! And blurs BAD!
If the flash is on it takes much better pictures but even then it blurs at times.
Im not a shaky person, though im not as steady as a table! The camera should be able to ajust. My old Kodak can if i can keep it charged!!

I also found that if the lighting is good and the flash is on the picture looks almost over exposed and the color is off! I have a chocolate poodle and in some pictures she was more red and our brown carpet was pinkish.
Faces are ghost white almost as if you took the picture standing a foot from them.
I understand this isnt the top of the line camera. Your not going to get FANTASTIC photos from a $100 point n shoot. But, they should be good and clear. My expierence with this camera was terrible and i wouldnt recommend it to ANYONE!!

I had this for 6 days and sent it back it was that bad!

Another issue i had that was tolerable but very annoying, the beeping on the camera. It does get annoying. I turned it off and it turns the flash off! Im not sure what a flash and a beep noise has anything to with one another but it does. Its says "hold the disp. (display button to turn flash on" but when i did this.. nothing happened! I had to go through the menus and turn it on the long way. Again, this was annoying but tolerable! If this was the only problems with on the camera i wouldve considered keeping it.
In my opinion you buy a camera to take pictures and capture the moments you want to remember. This camera was almost incapable of taking a clear picture! Most of the time people looked like ghosts or a giant blurr!

I was thinking of just trying a different series of the fujifilm finepix but not sure if i want to go through the hassle of this again. It was easier then i expected to return and get my refund but still an inconvience!

I really love these breastfeeding pads. It's true they are the softest of all the pads I've tried. I bought the 4 pair pack (in the cute little pink washing bag). I didn't want to wear disposables and them end up in a landfill. I noticed that they don't feel as weird and clammy as the cotton non-disposables..and yes, there was a little fuzz, but after you wash them a few times, no more. I think they were the softest thing I have tried so far. Great idea! great packaging! Thanks, Bamboobies!

Although my 4-month-old still wakes up 3-4 times during the night so I haven't really experienced their full absorption power, these are soft and seem thick enough to handle most moderate overnight leaking. You will need to also remember that natural or organic fibers will need to be washed a number of times to get rid of the natural oils in the fibers and you should avoid fabric softeners and other junk that would compromise absorption (as you should do with towels, microfiber cleaning pads, etc.)

I work part time and I want to breast feed as much as I can. I used the Medela pump in style double electric pump. But after a month, I realized I didn't really need it!

The hospital gave me this manual pump and it did the job! It was even faster than using the electric! I also don't feel like I'm hooked up to a machine and forces me to be immobile. The manual allows me to pump while walking around or just allows to pump anywhere without looking for an outlet. I can put it in my diaper bag and bring it to work and it's a lot less of a hassle than an electric.

If you are going to be pumping a lot, i recommend the electric from medela. However, if you are only going to be pumping occasionally (like 1-3 times a day or to relieve engorgement I recommend the manual. BUT everyone is different. I'd recommend renting or borrowing a electric before investing in one since it is very expensive.

Manual pumps are very affordable and it did the job for me.

I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT MANUAL PUMPS before!!!

I've had this dispenser forever and finally bought my parents one because they spend so much on bottled water. This one has never gotten mold or leaked like other people. I don't know why it would do that. This one however does not have the digital timer thing like the description shows. They need to change that. I would recommend!!

I am writing this review because I have noticed that many customers say, that particularly the drain cock is badly designed. True is that you cannot drain the tank completely but this is NOT a design error! No, it is well thought trough and I will explain you why.

1.) With the spigot located on a slightly higher water level it is allowing the remaining sediments to stay at the bottom of the tank without floating out once opening the spigot. Otherwise you would have them in your drinks.

2.) Keeping a minimum water level in the tank is protecting your filter unit from drying out. This is important to not destroy the carbon filter.

I am using this pitcher now for more than 6 months. I have not yet experienced any issue with leaking. The materials used are of high quality. I can not at all complain about this product, but what I can do is recommending it. The reason why I am not giving a five star rating is not because I am not totally happy with the product, it is mainly because in my opinion the customer should be made aware that, even the tank volume is big, you can / should not use the full amount of filtered water.

We have had a Brita pitcher with a filter for years, but found that when we had guests we would empty it too quickly. This bigger dispenser is the perfect solution and we are very happy with it. It is well made and easy to clean. It holds enough water to handle the needs of several thirsty people, but is not too heavy to carry. Sometimes I place it in the kitchen sink to refill, and other times I refill it while still in the fridge - removing the plastic tab on the top and pouring water in from another pitcher. If we had more fridge space I'd consider buying a second one - both to keep in the fridge but one to remove to a side table during parties etc.

This hand cream is the one of the best I have ever used. It has a very light, pleasant scent and a great feel when you rub it in. I can feel my hands drink in the oils and my hands do not feel greasy after I use it. My cracked cuticles were gone within a week of daily use. I would highly recommend the cream to anyone.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with the purchase. I really wanted the 3 tubes of cream and the price was a good price for three of them. What I received in the mail was one single tube. I did call customer service and had a great experience as they promptly offered to reship the order, overnight at no charge to correct the mistake. When the 2nd package arrived, it too only had one tube of cream in it. I called customer service back again and a very helpful gentleman offered to send me a refund as they this was my second call with a problem with the item. I explained that I did not have any problem with the quality of the item - my issue was that the warehouse was only shipping 1 tube instead of the three that were indicated on the web. I suggested that the issue was that the packing slip did not specify 3 tubes and so the warehouse did not know how many to put in the package. I am writing this in hopes that it will drawl attention to the problem so that others do not have the same issue and selfishly so that I can order this product again and get all three tubes!

I just used this for the first time, along with the shampoo, and although I cannot attest to its ability to preserve color, it conditions quite effectively. It may have been the shampoo, the conditioner, or the combination of the two, but my dry, frizzy, color treated red hair has not been so silky and shiny since I was in my teens. Even after one washing I was amazed and my red color appears to have not been stripped, as some shampoos and conditioners do. I will point out that the consistency is a bit unique. When first applying in the shower I wondered if it was a leave-in conditioner or treatment for dry hair because it was so different than what I was used to. I ended up reading the directions for use several times while applying and rinsing but it rinsed clear and left no greasy residue. In all honestly it was so "light" I wondered if it was going to do anything, but it did. It certainly did. I'm hooked and if it ends up not able to preserve my red as I would like (being unsure of this is the only reson I gave it less than 5 stars) I will seek another color preserving product and alternate it with this, which is a product I would recommend, along with the shampoo, for anyone with dry, frizzy hair whatever the color, even if not color treated.
